Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 July 2026
1. Agreement
These terms are a contract between you and Ortomate Ltd., 12 Jessie Street, Wellington, New Zealand (“Bossary”, “we”). By creating an account or using bossary.xyz you agree to them. If you use Bossary on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
2. The service
Bossary is a platform for creating, maintaining, and publishing glossaries, with optional AI-assisted drafting and review. We may improve or change features over time.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep access to your sign-in email secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
4. Your content
You own the glossaries and terms you create. You grant us the licence needed to host, display, and (where you choose public or unlisted visibility) publish that content. You are responsible for ensuring your content is lawful and doesn't infringe third-party rights.
5. AI features
AI-generated definitions and consistency findings are drafts, not facts. Review them before publishing. AI usage is limited per plan; limits reset monthly.
6. Plans and payment
- Paid plans (Pro US$19/month, Business US$49/month) are billed by Stripe in USD.
- Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled via the billing portal.
- If a payment fails we may downgrade or suspend paid features after Stripe's retry period.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law, including the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where it applies.
7. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no unlawful content, no attempts to breach security or other accounts' data, no abusive automated load, and no reselling of the service without our written consent. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
8. Availability and liability
Bossary is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under New Zealand consumer law that cannot be excluded.
9. Termination
You may stop using Bossary and cancel at any time. Export your data first — we may delete content associated with closed accounts after a reasonable period.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the New Zealand courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
